Dear all This rug was advertised as Persian Qum Silk 7 X 11' (215 X 335 cm) in an auction in Europe? Can you verify it from this photo only? If it is so, how much it is worth? Thanks.

Its very difficult to say from that image. But looking at the sharpness of design it could be a Persian. This design and colour is not very much in demand and I would have thought you could get it for about Eur2000 to Eur3000. Whether its worth it is another matter. Because it certainly appears to have some minor issues and without seeing more images you cannot tell if it has even bigger issues, which with silk can be very expensive to put right.
