Location: grosse pointe park, michigan
cleaning the third floor guest bedroom and I knew this rug was there but I decided to find out what it was. Is this an antique Hamadan? It measures 46.5 by 81.5 inches. No moth holes selvedge is beat up. Thinking about treating it better. How old and what type/ origin please.

It is a Hamedan but I can't quite place the region. But it's about 60 years old so not quite an antique.
