Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong forum, I didn't really see a good one to post this in and so I've put it here since this seems to be the busiest one.....

Does anybody know any good, reputable dealer/appraisers in Louisville or Lexington, Kentucky or Nashville, Tennessee....???

Hi,
I live in Michigan, but did you check out the home page of Rugrag...there's all sort of good references there.. Don't feel like you are limited to local places..it works to go across state lines.

Thanks Cartona for the suggestion....since your post, I've been roaming around the home page and its subpages and I feel like somewhere there must be a list of platinum and gold approved dealers and perhaps other lists but I couldn't find anything. I also tried searching "KY" "Kentucky" and a few other things to no avail.

While I don't mind traveling out of state, I really don't want to travel several states and need to find someone in KY, TN, maybe Cinci or Indianapolis but I don't really want to haul a couple of rugs any further than that.

If you need to havea rug identified then you can ask on the forum and submit pictures.you can ask for approximate value of your rug also from the experts.there is a rug estimator on the homepage of Rugrag. If you need an appraisal for insurance or sale, the Rug Rag will provide those also. Details on the homepage.I was not suggesting that you travel out of state to get your rugs appraised. I'm sure others will give you some suggestions also. GOOD LUCK!!!
