Hi,
I am hoping someone can help with an ID on this prayer rug (I believe). Size is about 33" X 56". Condition is reasonably good, low pile in a couple spots and needs some work on the edges. Could that be horsehair in the selvages, glossy, stiff hair?
Thanks for any help on this one.
Bruce

Agree with Nick.. Afghan, prayer rug. Goat hair or horse hair was used in the selvedge, condition issues - missing border on one end, not old.

Yes, condition issues but not horrible. I can probably take care of them, except the border loss. Just surprised by the horsehair on the edges, shiny and bristly. But the rug was cheap.
