KAD identified below a Tabriz design as not being made in Tabriz. Please help me with this 5X7 which seems to have the selvage of a Tabriz but after I look at something too long I see things.
It is my rug that I bought at a small auction for very little, but I'm not sure of its age or it's worth as a high quality Tabriz or if it's a copy Does have a small amount of silk highlights and KAD can confirm or not that it's kork wool Any color change is due to moisture.

Thanks for your help and opinion.

agreed, and to add, if those are moth bites close to the fringe, you are going to want to have the rug cleaned before any extended storage.
