Hello,

I have a rug that I got from my father. He got it from a rug dealer, don't know what he paid for it. He's a bit of a wheeler and dealer, my dad.

Anyways, I am hoping to find out what kind of rug it is, so that I am able to clean it properly. It is very dusty at the moment, and smells dusty, and i would like to look into the proper way to treat it.

It's wool, I know that much.

Thanks so much.

Thanks,

Any idea how it should be cleaned? Would I be able to hand wash it?

Better have it washed by a professional, if you wash it yourself you might ruin it. The red dye seems to be quite strong and if you wash it the Color might bleed.
