Hello everyone,
Can you tell me if my family room rug is Iranian or Indian origin? It works well for the family room, but after learning about my dining room rug, I just wanted to know about this one. We bought this one 5 years ago and gave the Mashad to my daughter. It measures @9 x 13'2".

Thanks RugPro,
I was afriad of that-- I only paid $900 for this one, so not so bad and it works well in the family room. I have been following the Ebay auctions and am getting a better feel for what rugs go for. It is an education in itself. With the forum and this new knowledge, I should be making better purchases now. Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I know you have the experience to tell the difference, but clues can I use to tell the difference???? is it the colors with the design in combination with the knots? How can you tell??
Thanks a lot!!!!!

Texture of the front alone suggests Indian but at $900 it's a very good buy.
