As you know it is not easy to judge these things from photos. However, It very much appears to me that it is a 10 to 20 year old Chinese copy. One of the ways you can tell the difference is the feel of it that apart from the Chinese Silk feeling different but the rug itself feels less dense and very pliable. Chinese copy of Hereke, made in the 1990's. The quality is called 300 line single knot since it was made using the perisan knot. Better quality chinese reproduktions of Hereke rugs use the turkish knot = 300 line double knot.
