This rug is a flat weave rug. The rug is identical on the reverse side except for the herringbone texture weave. If it's hand woven, what type of rug is this? Thank You! RaeTaylor attached the following image(s):

Thank you again Rug Pro! Any idea of age? I rarely find flat weave rugs, is this because they are not as durable as the rugs with knotted pile?

This is newer. certainly no more than 20 years, and if I had to guess maybe the last ten to recently. These rugs will last for a long time, they're just woven with a different method which is a bit faster to do than making a hand knotted rug with cut pile.
