8'10 x 12 semi-antique Heriz rug from an established rug dealer in Atlanta, GA. $3800. First time purchase for a Persian rug. Any feedback is appreciated.

Heriz area for sure but I think this may be more like a good Mehriban / mehrivan rug. Age appears to be 1960's so around semi-antique.

From the neighboring villages of Heris, most probably a "Bilverdi" and a bit expensive to me.

Agree, 1960 or 1970. Not very high end and a bit high in price.
