We have had these old rugs for awhile. We rescued one from the cement floor of a flea market-- paid $15 for it more than 15 years ago--I think it is a Shirvan--camel hair with some errant blue-- #1. The other is a Bergamo I think, that used to be in better shape-- I had it on the floor and it was vacuumed by our house cleaners before I realized I should pick it off the floor-- #2. I will probably use these on tables or on window seats. It's hard to part with these rugs even though they are in such bad shape since they represent a lot of age and culture. I have a newer Prayer rug, #3, which I bought at a resale/ antique shop. After I bought it, I wish I had not. It had already been set up on a rug hanger and has never been walked on. This one I will be putting up on Craigslist to sale. Can you verify that this is just a decorative rug and not a collectible one? File Attachment(s): cartona attached the following image(s):
