Hello Dear All, To be honest I am not even sure if these are real persian rugs :D But even if fake, I would love to know more about its designs and so on... got the small one for 25 and the runner for 100, so no delusions of grandeur here. Although any insight is awfully appreciated :-)

Im new here as well, but I just wanted to say how gorgeous that runner is! What are the dimensions of your rugs?

Hi NicB, I am new here as you can see, my apologies for this, I give newbies a bad name. The Rug dimensions are 4ft x 6ft 4'' and the runner's is 3'x30'

The runner appears to be machine made, whereas the area rug looks like a hand knotted Persian rug

RugPro, any idea on what age or the design on this rug is/represents? So i could learn more about it. Thanks a lot for your time.

The rug appears to be at least 1935, maybe a little older. Not older than 1910 in my opinion. The designs are eclectic interpretations often inspired by much older rugs. For this carpet, there are similar design rugs made 150 years ago in northwest persia that look similar
