Hi folks,

This is my first post on this forum. From a brief look about it appears an excellent and informative site.

I have recently become the owner of a rug which I'd like your opinion on. I have had two varying valuations/age put on it from two local rug shops(I'm in London) One dates it from about 1910/20, the other the 1970/80's. I might add that I've no real, ie no, knowledge of rugs!

It is 12' by 6' 4".

I hope my pics will appear with this post but not sure!

It's a Persian Bakhtiar from West of Iran and it is Circa 1970. Certainly no older than that.

Appears to be a Persian Baktiari or something. Maybe around 1950's/60. Classic garden style/four seasons
