I recently came into a Persian (I think) rug from my family. One branch of the family lived in Istanbul in the 40s and 50s. I think this rug was bought then but made earlier.

The rug is about 5x7 and in good shape. Other than the fact that it has a new fringe tacked on.

Any help with the iD would be appreciated. I assume value is hard to tell from these pics, but that would only be for insurance anyway.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Hello. Please excuse, but I think all of the images may not have loaded properly. They showed up differently on iphone and computer. Hopefully these are better.

Thanks

This could even be an Israeli or other weaving country product. Do you have a photo of the selvage?
