Hello, My wife and I had stumbled upon this rug purchase at a consignment shop that was going out of business for $200 (asking $700). Research from books and internet has left me with no solid answers. I could use any help on where, when and who made the rug. Thank you

I forgot to add the size. It is 8'x10' and has considerable wear leading me to believe it has some age.

I feel that you have given me the right direction. The patterns and colors sure seem right. What clues give you the estimation on the date and is there a way for me to pinpoint it precisely myself?

The colors used are a good indication to age plus I have a similar one in my collection
