Greetings. I own this carpet since 2012. My parents told me they have it as a present from approximately 1970. When I received it, it was brand new, never used, in the original pack. When I opened it for first time it had plenty of some kind of relish used against moths I guess. I could say it is still in perfect condition.
The rug has never been water cleared(no chemicals of any kind). It is still very new and shiny, colors are pleasure for the eye. No damage at all. Size is 340cm (without fringe) at 250cm. (11 feet 2inch at 8 feet 2 inch)
I would like to know it's origin and approximate appraisal. Depend on it I would decide whether to use it or sell it.
