Hi. I am a brand new rug owner and forum member. I recently inherited several rugs and know absolutely nothing about them. My great aunt had a $100,000 rider for just the rugs attached to her homeowners policy. I am looking to sell all but one of them but have no clue where to begin with my research. I am hoping someone here can help me get started. I am not looking to get rich but I don't want to get ripped off either. Attached are a few pics of what I have. I will be happy to provide additional information about any or all of them. Any help would be very much appreciated.

All your pictures are the same. You need to name the images with unique names when uploading them here or else they all show as the same.

Thank you for letting me know about my duplicate uploads. Best I can figure, I will have to post them one by one. I will keep it simple. All questions and info are welcomed and appreciated.

From the photos, which aren't great, they don't seem like the type of rugs that should have had such a rider. As far as I'm aware you only need riders on individual items (not groups) when their value exceeds $2000-5000 depending on policy. So not quite sure why there would be a rider on the entire group. I wouldn't say any of their retail values from the images would exceed more than a few thousand in a high street store. How many rugs were there?

I realize the pics are pathetic. I am using an iPad camera( less than 1 MP. I really just want the information to aid my research . It is hard figuring out where to begin. Some have numbers, metal tags with numbers, tags that state made in Iran with numbers...it is all very confusing. I am attaching another pic, different type all together.

To help resolve your confusion it is best if you take clear photos of the front and a section of the back, which shows the fringes as well. With these photos it is very difficult to say much as your photos are not really clear

Hello you all. I think I have finally come up with a solution regarding my pictures. I would greatly appreciate any of you who have the time to click on this link (Photobucket) and it will talke you directly to an album with the photos I have available. There will be two links each containing a small album with two rugs in each album. Hopefully this will work out the way I have planned for it too.

Thanks in advance-

Btw- after you click on the link you can click to view as a slideshow. The option is to the left of the pics.

Commercial grade Yalameh and a Caucasian rug. Nothing of great value. No idea why there was such a large rider, sorry.
