Ok, I see now. A Google search of those Poets now make the portraits and theme on the rug much more clear.
I recall Wali (my Cultural Advisor) mentioning that both of the men in the smaller portraits were popular in their culture. in retrospect I think he had mentioned that this rug was for a child's room.
Does the portrayal on the rug detract/add to its value, and is it possible to date how old it is?
