I posted a picture of this rug a few weeks ago. I now have back pictures as well as better front shots. Can anyone identify this rug. Some say Sarouk but I, myself, cant tell. About 180 KPSI Thanks Russett

Having seen the back I dont think it is a Saruk but a Hamedan area rug and I think it is a Darjazin. However, Darjazin does not usually weave rugs of this size and generally rugs of Hamedan area are much smaller than this. This fact makes it that much more desirable and it is a very nice piece and seems to be in very good condition. I think the auction value for this piece is $1500 to $2000.
