Bought in Selcuk, Turkey from Kurdish dealer. Eastern Anatolian. 8 colors. 2 rows of purple wool weft. A little shy of 5X7. Wool on cotton. We liked the green.

it is a very pretty piece. All your photos are the same and none of the back. Very difficult to tell from these photos. Well I certainly cant tell you much from them apart from the fact that it is pretty, but you already know that and thats why you bought it.

I am not too sure about this as it is a reproduction piece, but I think it is an Afghan, so called super Kazak and has some other names as well. Anyway if it is that then its about $350 to £400 a meter retail.

It is an Afghan "Super Kazak" or more likely "Sherwan" - modern reproduction of Caucasus rugs.
