I bought this rug at a thrift store for $13.00! I had a feeling that this was something special. The size is 79"X40", not including the tassels. It looks like wool to me.I am not an expert, but I think that the colors are really unique! Is there anyone who could point me in the direction of what style it is and its approximate worth? Is there book someone could recommend about learning more on indicators of regions? I apppreciate any help. Thank you

I'd say it's a fine Persian Belouch design but could be an Afghan Beljik implementation of a Persian Belouch.
