Acquired the enclosed rug in Afghanistan. I mailed it home before finding the forum and the correct pictures to get valuation/identification. Merchant said it was acquired in Herat and incorporates camel hair.

Hoping to at least get some information about type or origin of this rug. Been searching for similar designs, and haven't quite found a type that it clearly fits in. Any expert advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
