Hi all,

Have been a longtime lurker but finally registered. This is an excellent resource and would like to thank you all for all your efforts.

Recently bought this rug for $4900. Sold as a Nain 7' x 10'. Was this a good price? What is this design called and is this an authentic Nain?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you once again.

Thank you for your kind evaluation. This was sold to me as a Nain with 625-750 Kpsi. I will take more pictures including the full rug as well as images of the back with a US quarter on it. Do you think the signature is fake? I am trying to find out the "La" on the rug as well.
Thanks again.

As posted red color run, but seems to be nothing bad - any good rugstore shoud be able to fix this. Looks like a real Nain, pretty good quality and price seems to be ok also. You only posted one Picture four times, need more pictures from the entire rug.

Need more pictures but I would say if it is a 625-720 KPSI Nain (probably 4LAA) then it is a great buy... unfortunately I don't think it is.

From the one image it looks to be a 9LAA or good Tabbas rug in my opinion.

Overall image of the rug with close ups of the back and fringes would be useful.
