We inherited this carpet about 35 years ago. We had a local fellow tell us this: Tabriz, Antique silk, 7'2" x 4'10". 360 knots/sq.inch(20wide x 18length), 100% silk pile on silk warp, Shah Abbas medallion, Deep-Dark green open field with four lanterns, Ardebil Mosque border. It doesn't appear to have any damage or repair. The fringe is in good shape with the exception that the corners seem to be worn more than the center sections of the fringe. It has a "grain" in that viewed from one end it is much darker appearing than when viewed from the other direction. lljhoyer attached the following image(s):
