If these rugs show wear, foundation or staining, they're not of super high value. How much are you being asked to pay

You haven't mentioned the size although it looks pretty big in which case $1000 is a good price, especially from a dealer.

Hi little persia, thanks for the reply :)
The rug is 1 foot smaller l x w than the previous rug.
I ended up getting it. I noticed some parts of the beige have become dark..maybe a colour run? Or staining? He did wash it a week ago.
Although there is no low pile the foundation seems to be getting thin...he said its 30 years. The rug is equal. There is some slight bending or warps on the edges. Im assuming its made in persia and not an imitation.
If i were to sell this on craigslist in the future, will I be in loss or I can get $1000 back for it? Overall did i get a good deal?

Hi,
the first rug is a persian rug from the east persian destrict Chorasan. The rug was made in the city of SABSEWAR. These rugs show some design elements copied from Mashad rugs (also same dark red color), but are of lower quality. The rug shows extensive wear and has no big value.
The light colored rug is a persian Kashan design rug - but I don`t think it is a kurk Kashan, at least from the pictures it looks more like an Ardakan with Kashan design - but still a very good handknotted persian rug. 30 years age is possible. US$ 1000.00 is absolutely ok for a rug this quality.

Hi everyone thanks for your replies.
Im tryinfg to get rid of the first rug, what is a fair price? Is $500 good or too low for craigslist?
Is like to invest that $500 in another rug hopefully. They are addictive like tattoos as they say lol
