Just wanted to share a rare antique Mohtasham Kashan rug from our collection. It is in very good condition, soft as a velvet, no repairs or dry areas. Typical more graphic style that is typical for Mohtasham workshop between 1880 and 1890. Also the combination of ivory field and the darker border and medaillon are typical for this time. Size is about 7 x 4.6 ft. KAD attached the following image(s):

Thanks for sharing the photos of such a beautiful rug. Hard to believe it's so old, the condition is amazing and the design is breathtaking. Can't even imagine how much a rug like that would go for...
