Is this Bidjar really 100 years old?

This is a Bidjar rug that I'm thinking about buying in a private party sale. It is listed as being from the 1890s, but with repair to the ends and selvage.

The seller's photos are pretty bad so I'm wonder if it is true?

The border designs look semi-old Bidjar to me - the field is a guess.

I like the rug either way, but just don't want to overpay.

possible, but more likely late 1st quarter 20th century. how and who are you buying from?

I'm buying from a guy in a private sale. I agree that it feels more like 20s since it is more floral. I really like the colors and my SO likes the style a lot so I went for it.

I paid $850 + shipping, but I think I'm going to be happy when it arrives.
