Chichi Rug?  Does anyone know what this is?  I can't find anything like it.

Hi,

I have this rug. I cannot find a picture of another rug that is quite like it. The colors are also unusual. Any help would be appreciated. Could it be a Chichi rug? Kuba rug?

Your rug is no caucasian original rug, it was made in Pakistan. These rugs are often a mixture of different caucasian designs and sold as Kazak or Shirwan.

Wow, thank you so much! That is very helpful and amazing that you can extract that much information from the pictures! I find it so hard to identify these, but I'm trying to learn. I have some rugs and am moving and am not sure if I should continue to hold onto them. I got this for a nominal amount years ago and I remember the seller saying something about Kashmir, but that didn't make sense to me. It was labeled hand-knotted. Do you have any idea how old it is or if I should bother keeping it? After looking at some other posts, I also see two lines in it and it seems like it may have been shortened.
