I have several rugs that I would REALLY appreciate any appraisle/ estimate on. All are in excellent shape. They belonged to my grandmother, then to my aunt, both of whom were from Iran. All rugs were purchased in Iran many years ago (Before 1980 I believe).

Please let me know what you guys think!

rug number 3 is the best - this is a bijar.

When you say value, what is the purpose of valuation? insurance? are you buying from a private party?

Both actually. We really do need to get them professionally appraised and get paperwork for the insurance since they are just at home right now, but a good preliminary ball-park idea of what they are worth would be very helpful for me.
I honestly have no idea if they are worth $100, or $10,000!

And I have a few people interested in buying a few of them, so maybe you could let me know what a fair selling price in this economy would be.
