I found a rug on Craigslist that looks like a Heriz, but I can't figure out if it is Persian or Indian. The price is $1200. Would you be able to tell which it is, and if the price sounds good?

Thank you!

The back looks just like the front, but the looms looked too perfect it almost didn't look handmade. It is a new rug (5 years), but can a rug have perfectly straight looms from the back? Also the rug was really thick. It was about half of an inch. I've never seen anything that thick. It would be great if you can let me know what kind of rug it is.

Thank you!

Indian Heris, and the price, of course, depends on the size.

Thank you KAD and Rugfirm! Now I know what an Indian Heriz looks like. The pile was super thick, and pattern looked like an Persian Heriz. But when I went to see it, it didn't grab me like the way some rugs do.
