Origin and style of this large rug?

I purchased this rug at a local thrift store and am interested in its origin and approximate age and value. Thank you!

Great use of colours and looks like it's made to measure for your space.

I would look at investing in some anti-slip underlay for this piece that can be found in most carpet dealers, which will not only stop any movement but will also further the life of the piece, if the area is in constant use.

Agreed with USER:KAD that this is a Turkish Kilim late 20th century.
