I would like to know the date of this rug, as well as, what the number near the label signifies. The number is 383321. I have attached an image of the label. If you can tell me too, what it's value is, approximately. I'm not looking for exact numbers. The rug is in great condition, excepting that it's tassels on the ends need to be replaced/repaired. Thank you in advance for your help.

Still a current pattern, it now retails for about $4000 (new)
If someone offers you $900, jump on it. But I suspect you'd have a hard time getting $600 or $700 in today's market.
Have the fringe repaired (it is sewn on), wait a couple more years and *maybe* you can get more.

Thanks Jim, I appreciate your response. Based on the research that I have done, I figured about the same. I would like to know about the number on the label though; do you know it's significance? Does it help date the rug? I am curious about the date.

I think this number: 383321 is not from the rug, it might be from a cleaning / washing company that had the rug for a cleaning.
