Seller states antique sarouk, 5x7, and asking $1,000. So, what does the forum think???

I think it is a Sarouk reproduction from India made in the early 1990`s.

...and I think you are right, too. I got to see this in person and it certainly looked new - not at all like an antique rug would look...very dull and too perfect looking.
