Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 4/16/2012(UTC) Posts: 2 Points: 9 Location: tennessee		hello! i recently purchased these rugs from a local estate sale and wanted to know a little bit about them. i dont believe they are ridiculously old but they also dont look like a rug i can buy at lowes so i thought i would see if there is anything to them. the larger one is about 9x12 and the smaller on is about 58" x 41" and rather worn on one end. i debated stitching along the worn edge to prevent it from unraveling further but didnt know if that would be a good idea. any info i can get on them would be greatly appreciated. thank you, tosha barber

No, both are handmade, they're just not particularly valuable. Not all rugs maintain their value. The Balouch is the better rug but is obviously in rough shape - the other is coarsely knotted mass-produced. Still great value picking up 2 rugs if you like them and are going to use them for $60.
