Please help with translation of signature and value of these two silk Qoms.

Hello,

I am currently overseas and considereing purchasing one or both of these Qoms. They are both silk and I counted the kspi at about 600. The larger one is 4' 9" x 6' 11" and the smaller one is approx. 3' x 5'. They are both new and have no apparent blemishes. I was hoping somebody could give me a translation of the signatures and an approximate value so that I know I'm paying a fair price. Thanks for your help!

That large Qum says "Iran Qum Mousavi" and the small Qum says "Iran Qum Nouri." In the states, the larger of these Qums could be up to $6000-6500 retail, and the smaller would be $4000-4500 retail. I'm not sure what your travel arrangements are, but make sure you are certain that you will be able to get your purchases into the states. Due to a current embargo, Iranian rugs, regardless of the country in which you purchased them, are not allowed into the country and may be confiscated at customs.
