Another one from same dealer, 7x10 he says Nain 6La, 30-40 years old. Has two small (3mmx3mm) moth bite but no holes, one area of fringes is stretched and needs to be fixed. Asking $2000. What the forum thinks about the rug and the price? Thanks

Getting a real Nain in that size for that price these days is an absolute bargain. Can't really see much of the rug from the small photos.

From the pictures you posted and the description, this rug appears to be worth it. Just check that the stretching in the fringe area doesn't extend into the pile. That might end up being a more expensive fix that your originally planned.

yes - and be careful of severe COLOR RUN. some deep burgundy colors in these rugs were over saturated. It does affect value
