Thank You. When I look at the signature - it looks like it was done with a lighter background - to me and from what i read, that seems like a tell tale sign that it is not a genuine habibian. What do you think? Real Habibian or Fake?

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 3/20/2012(UTC) Posts: 0 Points: 6 Location: Park City		yeah i was thinking that as well. if you put the collector aspect of a habibian aside, are rugs from the Nain area with 400-500 kpsi fairly comparable? or does the quality vary wildly? it seems like habibian gave this region its big break, doing rugs in lighter colors more appeasing to westerns that had intricate designs with high kpsi. nain is no tabriz - but from an artistic standpoint, i do like some of the rugs.
