Now that I have found a Rug Rag Forum, I'm asking before byuing? this carpet is about 10 years old, with good pile. Wool on silk, they say. I'm not sure.

Hi: I've do a bit of research and I think this is probably an Afghan "kazak". It has been tea washed. Any recommendations on what I should offer as a price? thanks!

kazak design, yes. likely afghan origin. Price is whatever you feel comfortable at. It seems to be a well made rug. Are you selling as an individual or company?

Thanks RugPro. Asking price is $500. I can probably negotiate to $420. It is well made. There is a matching pair, but the sister is not in as good a condition.
