May I have help in identifying this rug and estimate?

Funny story, my husband found this rug in the trash and it is in immaculate shape. He has a little bit of background in rugs but this one has him stumped as to its origins, etc.

I have attached some pictures and would love to hear from anyone that can help to identify it and, just out of curiosity, its value.
