I am trying to clear up my Mother's estate and I just do not know anything about oriental rugs. She had two Karastan rugs 717 Multi Panel Kirman and 762 Red Medallion Kirman both I have listed on eBay for $348. She also had this blue looks to be a Chinese rug and I have been all over the web trying to figure out what it is and the value.
I have attached photos of the blue rug. It has never been walked on and was always hanging on the wall. It is thicker, appears to have knots, the hemming on the sides looks uneven like it was done by hand not machine and on the back of the rug the rows are uneven also like they have been done by hand.

Thank you so much for replying to my post. It is kind of what I thought based on lots of googling. If you could, what would be a price range for selling this rug? Again, thank you for responding to my inquiry.

if it is smaller than 4x6, less than $250 as a private party seller. these can be had at auctions for as little as $40. Full retail for perfect condition cleaned and never is different story. get what you can
