Hand-woven in Pakistan with a cotton foundation and a wool pile. When brand new, they have a much higher price tag as opposed to if you try to sell one as a used rug.

Thanks Rugfirm!
Is there a name for this type of rug made in Pakistan? Does "farsh" apply because of the size? Does any other name (like Peshawar or Bokhara for instance)apply?
Thanks,
Dave

Looks like a Pakistani or Indian interpretation of a Kerman or Nain. Farsh just means rug in Farsi/Persian.

As little-persia says, "farsh" means rug in Persian and this is a reproduction of a Persian Kerman design made in Pakistan. Overall, this is a good looking rug.

Would $1200 be a good value on this rug?
