Hi all,

My fiance has started a small business with rugs and furniture and I'm trying to help. I'm afraid I don't know much of anything yet but it's fun checking sites and trying to learn. Any guidance on where to take my studies is appreciated. And thanks to you experts for your input and advise.

There is a lot of useful material on the subject of rugs to read online as well as fantastic books to buy and study. However, you have to get involved with the actual process of buying and selling rugs for a few years before you really start learning. This requires much patience and hard work. If you know a rug dealer in your area, ask them if you could spend a few hours in their store everyday. This could be the fastest way to go, but don't forget the books. Good luck.
