okay, i just 'won' this online...i think (hope) i got a good deal, but i'll let the forum let me know.

I think it's a 6' x 9' semi-antique sarouk and i think it's 1940s era, which is not the most desirable age, but still nicely done... it seems to be in good condition and a desirable size...

...now, with shpping and taxes i paid $950 for this rug... please, please, please let me know your thoughts!

Persian Sarouk with synthetic dyes and not older than 45-50 years. Also as the photos show, it needs some repair work at the ends and this is what you need to take care of fast before the pile starts unravelling. For a 6 X 9 the price is OK, but definitely not a hot deal.
