Hello, just paid $150 for this (please attached). It has not arrived yet, but it's 40x64 and seems to be in pretty good condition. I'm hoping it's an older, some what more unusual, mahal/lilihan/hamadan, but have no idea...i just thought the colors were interesting and it had integrity...

...so, what did i get and did I get a good deal???

Persian Hamadan, perhaps about 40-50 years old. When it comes to rugs, you pay for something you like. However, this rug is nothing extraordinary and I would not pay half this amount if I were you.

Nice old rug, seems to be old Bordjalou. No a hidden treasure, but still ok. Price is at the upper end as Rugfirm posted. But if you like it a lot - within acceptable price range.

so, i guess i didn't do quite as well as i thought, but i think it's still a pretty nice find.

...but i found something else that i hope is much better that i did buy...please let me know your thoughts (it's in a different post)...
