I would like some help in identifying what type of rug I have inherited. The dimensions are 8'2" wide by 11'4" with a 3 1/2" fringe. It is in very good condition. Pictures attached.

An Afghan rug with a Turkeman design, cotton foundation and wool pile with a market value of around $800-900.

I have been looking at the pictures again and I still think this is an Afghan rug. A Pakistani rug with this pattern would be a Bukhara with a lighter structure and a bit more loose in the body. With so many Afghan refugees living in Pakistani camps and weaving rugs, it could have been woven in Pakistan by an Afghan weaver. However, it does not affect the value and I think it is worth more than $500.
